Cipriani School Drama Class Performs their Original Play

Make-A-Movie Studios Shelley Frost teaches drama to schools throughout the San Francisco Peninsula for the San Carlos Children's Theater. This past Spring, Frost challenged her Cipriani Elementary school class by having them brainstorm ideas for their very own play. This activity is similar to Frost's Make-A-Movie Workshops in that the children dream up their own characters, story lines props and locations before turning on the video camera. Frost then writes the script using the ideas of the children. This has resulted in over 40 original movie scripts that are available for purchase at Make-A-Movie Studios.

The Cipriani students brainstorming resulted in their original play, "The Princess & the Bee."

Detective McGillicutty assigned to be a watchful eye over a princess who is determined to find her childhood pet, a Queen Bee. Fruits and vegetables are in short supply as the bee population sorely needs their Queen Bee to pollinate the plants. Even though a werewolf and an alien from Mars threaten to derail her plans, the princess finds the Queen Bee and the world is suddenly a better place.

The play is now available at Make-A-Movie Studios for a discounted price of $15. To purchase your copy of "The Princess & the Bee" click here.
